D-A-D played a short set at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen on October 5 immediately following the gala premier of "True Believer", the documentary about D-A-D filmed and directed over a 25-year-period by Torleif Hoppe — the band's so-called fifth member. According to a posting on the group's web site, "the very-much-still-going-strong quartet played three new songs ('Beautiful Together', 'Too Deep For Me/Roxity', 'Monster Philosophy') and one encore ('I Won't Cut My Hair') for a happy audience, including Danish celebrities."
D-A-D will release its 10th studio album, "Monster Philosophy", on November 10 via EMI. The CD features 10 tracks produced by Jon "Joshua" Schumann, who has previously worked with MEW, KENT, KASHMIR and CARPARK NORTH, among others. The basic tracks were laid down in April in Long Branch, New Jersey and work continued at Mansion Studiet in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The group's ninth studio album, "Scare Yourself" topped the album chart in Denmark upon its release in May 2005.
